The Photograph (2020)

Did I like it? Ehhh... don't remember much of it.
Would I watch it again? Not willingly.
Would I recommend it? Watch it if you willingly want to.

The Photograph: the story of a young woman, Mae (Issa Rae), going back to her parents home state to find her biological father. She meets a reporter, Michael (LaKeith Stanfield), and they develop a relationship. Their modern love story intertwines with the romance of her parents. This film is set in both the present and past. This movie is not memorable at all. I'm drawing a blank right now trying to write this review. Oh, I remember something! Why didn't the mom tell him?!! She should have told him. He was a good man, he deserved to know.

My mother wasn't very good at love. What if I'm just like her?
