You People (2023)

Did I like it? Surprisingly, yes. 

Would I watch it again? Sure. 
Would I recommend it? "Should I watch it?" / "Sure."

I saw the trailer for You People (2023), and honestly, I was not excited to see this film. But I decided to watch it anyways and was pleasantly surprised. This romantic comedy offers comparative takes on the different perspectives that people have of each other in contemporary America. People and cultures maneuver through American society in seemingly different ways, at different paces, and with a different level of ease - this film dialogues through some of these ideas. The selected quote was said by one protagonist to another and I hope to apply this principle in my interactions with everyone. If you want to watch You People, go ahead. I may give it a second watch soon.
