The Bay of Silence (2020)

Did I like it? I sat through it and watched the entire thing.
Would I watch it again? 99.99% probability no.
Would I recommend it? If my review interests you, watch it.

The Bay of Silence (2020) is adpated from the book of the same name by Lisa St Aubin de Terán. The plot goes like this; Will (Claes Bang) and his wife Rosalinda (Olga Kurylenko) welcome a new addition to their family, a baby boy. Tragedy strikes not too long after he arrives. This tragedy ties into Rosalind's past. This movie is slow, and boring. For me personally, it kept my interest because of the dual display of the best that humans are and the worst that they are capable of. It's not a new portrayal of the antagonist/protagonist archetype but it's the good in the protagonist that kept me watching. This movie does not take the time to flesh out the characters fully, some not at all, but I didn't regret watching it because of the reason I gave above.

I can fix anything, old bicycles, broken hearts, anything.
